MARICA SONG AND PRAYER
We are children of Marica And we are proud to bear the name,
In work and play and studies
Our motto is the same;
Love and Peace and Harmony,
the spirit of true unity,
our service in full loyalty
unto our School shall be.
Yes, we are children of Marica
And we shall hold our heads up high,
For the honour of our school
We shall aim beyond the sky;
Love and Peace and Harmony,
the spirit of true unity,
our service in full loyalty
unto our School shall be.
ONE DAY AT MARICA
THANK YOU GOD
FOR MOTHER NATURE
In the pure silent morning
We listen to Thee, God
We listen to you, teacher.
We want to hear and see,
We want to observe and understand,
We want to do and beautify,
We want to respect and care.
God, it is all yours,
We offer it to you.
TINY TOTS EXPRESS
STUDENTS FEEL
When I first joined Marica
I did not know where I was
But Mama told me every thing
I knew there were bridges to cross
The teachers are so loving
They take good care of me
My principal is so caring
How sweet can she be
I have learnt to read and write
With help from here and there
My teachers and my mother
Guide me with love and care
At school I am just a little child
Going by the rules
At home I am a naughty elf
Breaking up the tools
There are things I want to do
Like dance and sing and play
But how long will it take me
To do what I can say
Marica is my school home
For there is nowhere else to go
It gives me more of wisdom
To show what I do know
My Papa shows surprise
When I read so loud and clear
Sometimes in his eyes I see
A tear drop for his dear.
MARICA? MARICA, I love so
I do not want to leave
But some day will come I know
To go a sigh I leave
Marica is a common name
That my brother also knows
He silently adores my school
Though his emotion does not show
I am what I am today
Because of Marica School
I will be what I will be
Going by the rule
But till then
I know I will
Love my Marica so
Till the sunset disappears
And it is time to do!
